As a local housing association, GEWOBAU Erlangen possesses a stock of nearly 5000 one to five bed letting properties, over 3500 parking options, such as garages, parking spaces and carports as well as over 45 business premises.

In addition to our letting properties, nearly 2.700 homes are subject to rent/occupancy control. This means that we are only allowed to let out these units upon presentation of a so-called “Wohnberechtigungsbescheinigung” (certificate required to live in apartments built using state subsidies). You can apply for the certificate by contacting the Erlangen City Council Housing Office. However, the award is attached to various conditions, e.g. your income situation or the number of housemates.
